Following last year's great success Moving Light Dance Company will, once again, present the Green Mountain Nutcracker on December 20th and 21st at the Barre Opera House. . The production featuring dancers of all ages from over a dozen Vermont communities.
Watch the Nutcracker battle the Rat King. Be enchanted by Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy. And be ready for a twist. Because this is the Green Mountain Nutcracker! You’re sure to recognize the "real Vermonters" and a few "not so real."

Brought to life with choreography by Christine Harris, Willow Wonder and Ellen Cooke, costumes by Anne Labrusciano and set designs by Joe John. In addition, local fiddler extraordinaire, Susannah Blachly, will perform in the Vermont-style party scene. In the beautiful Barre Opera House, for two performances only.
